When I walked into Linea Caffe’s Potrero Hill location this morning, I had pretty average expectations. It’s got the usual mix—specialty blends, pastries from local spots like Neighborhood Bakehouse and Dynamo Doughnuts. The vibe is extremely pleasant, but nothing that really stands out in a city packed with good coffee shops.

I ordered a latte, a medium-dark roast with a subtle orange note. It was decent—smooth, warm, and comforting, definitely filled with love and care. The pastries were nice too. The Cornbread Peach Donut had a satisfying sweetness, and the coconut pandan mochi was chewy and light. They paired well with the coffee, and both left a lasting impression.

Linea Caffe is a solid choice if you’re already in the area. It’s got a welcoming atmosphere and decent offerings. While I wouldn’t make a special trip just to come here, it’s a reliable spot to drop by if you’re nearby and in need of a good cup and a snack.

Sincerely,

Atmosphere

When I went, there was a dog wearing a "Happy Birthday" bandana, and honestly, that sums up the whole vibe of Linea.

Drinks

7.8 / 10

You can really tell there is love and care put into this coffee. However, nothing about it screams unique to me.

Food

All of the pastries were yummy. They paired well with the coffee and were unique in flavor.

Price

6.8 / 10

Pretty standard prices. Two drinks and two pastries came out to $24. Do with that what you will.
